This architectural cityscape in the Berlin-Moabit district was taken with the Nikon D90 on 5 February 2018.
The site is known as the Spree-Bogen and is also a monument.
The Street of Remembrance is a publicly accessible memorial in the Spree-Bogen in the Berlin district of Moabit. It consists of several sculptures with which the Ernst Freiberger Foundation honours personalities who, primarily in the first half of the 20th century, "achieved extraordinary things and demonstrated exemplary behaviour in the most difficult times".
The foundation refers to the honoured individuals as heroes without swords. In this way, the founder of the foundation, Ernst Freiberger, wants to show that "there were also positive heroes - heroes without swords - in Germany in the first half of the last century".
In order to keep the memory of these personalities alive, this memorial was created on the Spree-Bogen, in the immediate vicinity of the former Ministry of the Interior.
