Very regularly I use multiple exposure: mixing up two or more photos for a creative and artistic effect of an 'ordinary' subject.
Flowers are often photographed. It is a favorite subject among photographers. I usually try to give my flower photos an extra touch in the form of, for example, a structure, a pattern or a certain atmosphere.
In this macro photo of a coiffure flower (Gaillardia) I wanted to create a soft romantic atmosphere. This is achieved by combining two photos: one sharp and one blurred. In this way a blurred and soft effect is created, the so-called soft focus effect. This effect also gives the flower photo a dreamy look.
In terms of colors, this photo is special because only a few colors were used: yellow, orange, red and green.
These summery colors create a colorful explosion! A photo to make you happy and to enjoy the summer for a long time to come!
I see making art as a creative process.
The starting point of this process for me is always a photo or a painting of my own. Every work of art on this site is therefore based on a self-made photo or painting.
