Bobbio is located in the province of Emilia-Romagna. The village lies in the beautiful Trebbia river valley and is surrounded by the Apennines. The symbol of the village is Ponte Gobbo (or the Ponte del Diavolo). This bridge has its origins in Roman times, when it was already built entirely in stone. Its 11 irregular arches connect the village to the other side of the Trebbia river.
