About the artwork

I lived at the Kop van Zuid for some time. The most special things about this place were the sunrise over (seen from my house) Rotterdam South and the sunset over North. The colour that the sky can create is unimaginable. Like on this evening where for a few seconds everything turned orange. Like a fireball so brightly coloured the sky. In the de Rotterdam building, if you look closely, you can see a man with binoculars also enjoying the special scene.

I hesitated whether to remove the illuminated advertisement at the bottom of the picture. The bright white light contrasts with the surroundings. However, it is as the moment was. So much is already edited and unreal in the world. This image is really as it was, this natural beauty needs no polish or filter. All it requires is that you look out and enjoy it from time to time. Because say it yourself, surely this is spectacular.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
