The last hotel I stayed in during my tour of Sicily was in the town of Siracusa.
From the room I had a view of Mount Etna on one side, and palm trees from the other.
But on that side the sun also appeared to set.
On one of the nights I stayed there, the sun did set very nicely, which is what I took this photo of.
Good thing we kept to Italian meal times with dinner, which gave me a nice opportunity to wait for the sunset and then have dinner.
