There are those nights when you can predict in advance that something beautiful is coming. Low tide, wind still, clouds and the sun in the right place on the horizon at the moment it sets. That was also the case this evening, when I had to search for a composition. The small island with fresh green samphire is a nice eye-catcher for the foreground. Waiting for the sun to set, the sky turns a fantastic red and orange because of the clouds that are lit up. These are moments that make you quiet and delightful. Luckily I pressed the shutter at the right moment to capture it all.
I have been photographing since I was little, but the beauty of nature is something I really started to see by actively photographing landscapes and nature. By consciously standing still and taking in your surroundings you learn to look and feel differently.
