About "Surreal, realistic cloud cover over Skogar"

About the artwork

Standing at the foot of the impressive Skogafoss waterfall in southern Iceland, you automatically become curious. Where does all that water come from?
Where more than 20 years ago I took myself up a sandy path, which was a real calf biter, now you can just follow the 400 steps up. (Spoiler Allert, it's still a calf biter).
Once at the top, you are driven upstream like a magnet. Miles of waterfalls, cascades, and rugged landscapes.
The cloud in this photo did not bode well. They show that there are strong winds on the way. Once again, we were defeated by the wind during the hike.
The freezing wind beat mercilessly around our ears. The hood of my coat was flapping so hard it hurt my ears.
Once again we had to turn around, walk back past the many waterfalls, cascades and rugged landscapes. But what a great hike, what a beautiful day, what a fantastic experience.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
