I come from Sussex in England and there is an old Sussex word for a narrow path or passage between two buildings or hedges, it is a 'twitten'. Seeing this narrow access road in Panicale, Umbria, Italy made me think of that old word. In this case a car could just about carefully make its way down the dirt track. Photo Art
