This photo was taken from the bridge over the river in Couvin. A town in Wallonia, in the province of Namur, near the border with Hainaut and France. It is one of the largest municipalities in Belgium by area. It was a rather grey day but by converting the image to an almost black and white, details become nicely visible. The water flowing through Couvin is the Eau Noire, a spring river. Over a length of about 5 kilometres, the Eau Noire marks the border between France and Belgium. Beyond Couvin, part of the river goes underground.
