Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘The fluid balance.’ by Frieda van Limbeek

Clean, jet-black lines cut across the canvas with surgical precision at right angles, between which a serene stillness of primary colours prevails. Nothing is excessive, nothing is accidental; it is a universe reduced to its purest essence. This characterises the work of Piet Mondrian. In this piece, I have introduced a twist by using the same primary colours to break through the stark silence. By using the primary colours in acrylic casting, they merge once more into a spectrum of new colours, which contrasts with Mondrian’s austere background. The edge of the foreground colour cloud is also finished with gold leaf, and small pieces of gold leaf have been applied here and there within the cloud itself.

I started actively creating art at the beginning of 2025. Although I was very creative as a child, I didn’t pursue it very actively afterwards. As I’d chosen a technical profile at secondary school, the creative activities at school also dried up.

Recently, however, I’ve felt the need to dust off this talent. I’m a Christian and I believe that God has been steering me more and more towards creating art of late. I believe that, as an artist, I can reveal something…
