A group of tourists are taking a lecture of the tourleader/guide at the famous cathedral Mesquite de Cordoba in Andalusia, Spain.
A real challenge to get a quick shot off this group due the limited light conditions and the ever moving group.
According to several sources the history of this huge cathedral goes back to the year 785 when they build an Islamic mosque. The mosque was converted into a cathedral after the Christians captured the city.
Visiting this beautiful building you will see there are many pillars in this building. Originally about 1200 pillars were used but after a reconstruction about 400 pillars were removed. Still an impressive number remained.
Thousands of tourists from all over the world visit this awesome historic building and tickets should be bought well in advance.
The cathedral/mosque is an UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1984.
