About the artwork
Eberswalder Straße underground station is an elevated station on the U2 underground line in the Prenzlauer Berg district of Berlin's Pankow district. It is located on Schönhauser Allee shortly after the intersection of Eberswalder/Danziger Straße with Kastanien-/Pappelallee. The station, opened by the elevated railway company under the name Danziger Straße on 27 July 1913, was called Dimitroffstraße from 1950 to 1990.
This right-hand window section with the view of the television tower and the church lends an exciting curiosity to get to know the big city metropolis in the direction of Alexanderplatz and to immerse oneself in the fascinating urban architecture. The course of the tracks gives the viewer the feeling of moving directly into the big city jungle.
The black and white character of the motif gives the picture an elegant and timeless image statement. This urban city shot is ideally suited for hanging in living rooms and modern offices.
