The Cabo de Gata Natural Park in Almería province, Andalusia, is the ideal place to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. The natural park is best known for its breathtaking landscapes, volcanic cliffs and picturesque villages and beaches visits. In addition, the nature reserve is still relatively unknown to mass tourism. The area lies on the Mediterranean coast with beautiful beaches, high and beautiful cliffs of volcanic origin, small villages where life is still slow and friendly. On the wide beaches near the villages, here and there, old fishing boats are still lying around like icons of the past, now replaced by polyester or aluminium ones, less maintenance and always ready for use. So here too, reluctantly, modern times have made their appearance and the days of yore are slowly losing some of their lustre. For now, though, the icons of yesteryear will still adorn the wide beaches and will regularly be taken home for later by the lens of passing photographers as a reminder of this beautiful place.
