About "Tropical sunset"

About the artwork

Holidays on a tropical island in the Caribbean. I imagined all kinds of things about that. My first experience was in Cuba and of course there was more to see and experience there than the classic tropical island holiday. It is a special country with a special population.

And yet, suddenly it was there. Almost at the far western tip of the island at Maria la Gorda. A beautiful sunset behind palm trees. With an endless sea into which the sun had just not disappeared. Gold, orange rising through warm yellow to greyish blue behind the black silhouette of two palm trees. A perfect summer atmosphere.

The warmth that was palpable. The conviviality of a group of people enjoying the sunset. The relaxed atmosphere of sun, sea and beach. You can see it all in this photo. Along with the chance for romance on the beach. A coconut just barely fell out of the tree.

What more could you want on a lovely tropical summer evening.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
