About "Tulip field Goeree - Overflakkee"

About the artwork

View of a pink tulip field, during a misty sunrise. Near the village of Zuidzijde, on the beautiful island of Goeree- Overflakkee.

Every year in April, the island is full of colourful tulip fields. During this long weekend, I stayed at a Hotel in Oude-Tonge, from where I went to explore the surroundings by bike.

For this image, I had to get up early, because this location was five kilometres away from the hotel and the sunrise was around seven o'clock.

Once I arrived at this location, there was a nice layer of mist over the tulip field. The sky was already starting to colour a bit, so the prospects were good!!!

Just after sunrise, the fog began to lift and colour the sky in shades of purple and gold. The perfect time to take this photo!!!

For this image, I took three shots so that it is completely in focus from front to back. The tulips fill most of this image, in the background you can see the water tower from south side. Next to it is a farm, with a nice row of trees that you see a lot on this island!!!

All in all, this is a beautiful colourful sculpture, which will brighten up many spaces. I also have a standing version of this sculpture ind e shop.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
