Violet Agate Rings – Elegant Alcohol Ink in Purple and Turquoise

by Joke Gorter

Add a mesmerising, elegant and soothing touch to your interior with this unique piece of abstract art. Created using the refined alcohol ink technique, this piece captivates with its layered, concentric circles that are instantly reminiscent of the organic growth rings of precious agate geodes or the gentle ripples in clear water. Vibrant violet and deep purple blend harmoniously with a luminous touch of turquoise and aqua. The translucent veils and delicate, dark edges lend the piece incredible depth and a luxurious feel.
A chic and dynamic eye-catcher
Despite the dynamism of the circles, this piece exudes immense serenity thanks to its harmonious colour palette. It is the perfect statement piece for a hotel-chic bedroom, above a modern, light-coloured lounge sofa, or as a calming and inspiring focal point in a design office or reception area.
Styling tip:
This painting looks its best against a light, neutral wall (such as crisp white, light grey or a soft sandy shade) to make the colours really pop. Want to create an intimate, luxurious atmosphere? Then hang it on a deep navy blue or anthracite grey wall. Pair it with silver, chrome or glass home accessories to accentuate the cool, fresh tones in the artwork.
