Born 1956 in Essen, Germany, I started drawing before I learned to walk.
In 1973 I started my training as a professional lithographer.
1977 worked as a lithographer for advertising, newspapers and magazines.
1982 I started my design studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf in the fields of illustration and packaging design.
