"Warm colours: The power of Echinacea" is a close-up of a beautifully flowering Sun Hat. This Sun Hat (This is the Dutch name for the Echinacea) has pink petals and a warm orange with brown centre. In this photo, the background also has a warm brown background, giving the photo a warm autumnal look.
When taking this photo, I chose a different framing from the obvious. I wanted to draw attention to the heart, but still show the petals in the photo. In the end, after much trial and error, this became the result. The focus is on the heart you are facing. The further forward or back you look, the blurrier the image becomes. This is due to the chosen depth of field. Hit gives a sense of depth in the photo, as well as calmness.
This macro photo could, for example, hang beautifully as decoration in the bedroom, kitchen, dining room or simply above the sofa in the living room!
