About the artwork

My work "Water Drops on an Illuminated Plastic Surface" focuses on the quiet beauty of the everyday. You can see finely distributed drops of water resting on a structured, translucent plastic surface. Targeted lighting creates fascinating refractions and reflections that make the drops look like small lenses - each a microcosm in itself.

The inspiration for this picture came to me while experimenting with everyday materials. I was attracted by the idea of capturing something as fleeting as water in a moment of tranquillity - captured through the lens, but not staged. The combination of artificial material and natural element creates a subtle tension that captivates the eye.

I wanted to create an atmosphere of concentration and reduction - almost meditative. The picture invites you to pause and discover details that are often overlooked in everyday life. It is about perception, about the interplay of light, form and transparency.

In interior design, this work is particularly effective in modern, minimalist rooms. It brings calm, clarity and a touch of technical elegance - without being obtrusive. Its restraint in particular gives it a strong visual presence.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
