What a huge explosion of bright happy colours are seen here in this abstract artwork!
Rainbow colours always inspire me to create art. By the way, a rainbow in nature is also a special spectacle. When, after a heavy rain, the dark clouds move away and the sun starts shining again, you sometimes see a beautiful rainbow. For me, this is always a lucky moment!
In a rainbow, the colours purple, red, orange, yellow, green and blue blend together beautifully and radiate happiness. This is why I love using these bright colours when creating art. Photographing or painting with these colours automatically makes you happy!
This particular work of art has a watercolour as its base. On this watercolour, I painted a geometric pattern in black with the colours of the rainbow running into each other as the background. The end result was nice, but not special enough in my opinion.
The next step was to digitally edit the photo of this painting. I digitally distorted and twisted the watercolour photo and made this explosion of rainbow colours from it. The contrast between blue with green and orange with red is further enhanced by the black lines in between, which also form a ray-shaped pattern.
An extraordinary work of art: colourful, captivating, intriguing, imaginative, dynamic and powerful, but above all cheerful!
