The picture shows the alpine huts of the Büchsenalm and behind them, above the Königssee, which is not visible in the picture, the huge Watzmann. The backlight and the sun's rays bring out the contours, directly in front of the Watzmann you can recognise the Kleiner Watzmann and the Mooslahnerkopf, to the left the wild Hachelkopf, which is hardly ever climbed by anyone, and above it the Hundstod. A real national park feeling. Impressive scenery that asks to be printed out as large as possible. And even then, no picture can convey what it's like to actually stand in front of these mighty mountains in real life. A symphony of cultural landscape and wild high mountains. But also a contrast between tourism and wilderness. Or perhaps a connection between alpine farming and mountaineering. Somehow everything belongs together here.
