As I slowly sail by in a small boat, the fjord seems to be holding its breath. The ridge on the opposite side rises steeply, but the peaks disappear in a veil of clouds, as if the mountains themselves dare not breathe fully for a moment. And yet I see them, fully and uninhibited - not above me, but below me, in the water that forgot to move.
The reflection is sharper than reality. Ridges, edges, shadows - they float in perfect silence beneath the surface. It is as if I am sailing between two realities: one hidden in mist, the other caught in liquid glass. For a moment, I am not underway, but merely present in the moment where everything converges - calm, light and reflection.
The landscape says nothing, but invites silence. As if it holds something open for those who look without haste. And I look. Because it is now, and may never be again.
