"White and gray: Droplets on a dandelion fluff" is an (extreme) macro photo of a fluff of a dandelion, with a light gray background. reflected in a watery surface. Water droplets hang from the fluff.
The depth of field is very shallow (only a few millimeters from the fluff). This creates a quiet, dreamy atmosphere and also a sense of depth in the work. The droplets also help to create this dreamy atmosphere, they reflect the light and this creates sparkles on the droplets.
This photo was taken with a more extreme macro lens than is normally used. This magnifies the subject even more and you start to see elements you had probably never seen before: "The wonderful world of extreme macro photography". For example, do you see the "tiny hooks" attached to the hairs of the lint?
This work gives me the feeling of peace, but also winter and Christmas.
Beautiful for the bedroom, waiting room, practice room or just above the couch in the living room!
Also beautiful on the wall in a meeting room ( business)
