About "Wire portrait of a dachshund (realistic drawing dog short paws black and white pet)"

by Natalie Bruns

About the artwork

In this wire portrait, you see a dachshund looking at you with big, loyal eyes. Its elongated body, characteristic paws and slightly drooping ears are constructed with playful black wire lines. Each line seems to be in motion, but together they form a hushed moment of recognition for any dog lover.

The portrait exudes warmth, affection and a touch of humour. The fine wire structure gives the work vibrancy, while the background of handmade paper provides a soft, natural base. Perfect for a living room, children's room or dog corner. A tribute to a beloved breed.

The portrait is composed of many loose black threads, which give the work a playful character. Together, they create a lively image full of texture and movement. The subject shows subtle densities and the background of handmade paper gives the work a warm, natural base.

This work is part of a series of human and animal portraits, including endearing baby animals. To be found in my shop under 'wire portraits'.

This series grew out of my love for materials with character and story. Handmade paper fascinates me. Every fibre, every irregularity is unique and depends on the origin of the paper. The thin black thread makes it fragile and in some places almost seems to merge into the paper itself. That combination, together with my passion for creating portraits of people and animals, ensures that I have worked on each artwork with great pleasure and dedication. Each portrait is carefully constructed using Artificial Intelligence, with an eye for detail and a deep sense of connection. A unique collaboration between human feeling and digital imagination.
