An exciting photo taken among the leaves of a large green bush. Looking between the big shiny leaves I see the beautiful tall yellow Sunflower (Rudbeckia Nitida "Herbstsonne"). What a funny name this is: Herbstsonne. This German word means autumn sun and normally this plant also blooms in autumn. But now, with this year's warm summer, it is blooming early.
For this photo I played (and had to deal) with different elements: the wind, backlight, water droplets (from the garden sprinkler), the setting sun and a big bush between me and the beautiful yellow flowers. What a challenge this was!
But the end result is a fairy tale full of colors, shapes and imagination. The backlight and the dark parts of the bush create a nice contrast between light and dark in this photo. The splashing water from the garden sprinkler creates a special bokeh in the background. The backlight of the setting sun lights up the yellow flowers beautifully. The wind also adds a lot of dynamics to this photo.
A photo with a lot to discover and that will certainly bring a warm and summery feeling to your home!
I see making art as a creative process.
The starting point of this process for me is always a photo or a painting of my own. Every work of art on this site is therefore based on a self-made photo or painting.
I find my sources of inspiration in everything around me...
