My fascination with Nature continues. In this case, I have rendered a beautiful flowering grass palm in a cubist manner. The clean lines give a whole new dimension to this image, powerful and strong.
I find the beauty of grass moving. The strength of the stem, holding up the heavy load of seeds even in a strong breeze. The attributes of nature reflect in here, resilient, strong, intensely beautiful and yet so fragile.
We must be careful of this wealth!
I could see this image in a minimalist setting, perhaps as a counterpoint to round organic shapes or as an eye-catcher on a bright wall.
The styles I find fitting are the Scandinavian or the Japandi style. But also in a black and white environment (industrial) this image can give a beautiful, minimalist accent!
Has it ever been different?
I was always drawing ー as early as primary school, the margin of my notebooks was full of scribbles that didn't have much to do with what was supposed to be there. A lot of nature, especially flora.
