This digital artwork is a mosaic of memories, a visual symphony of a career dedicated to the world of finance and technology. It depicts an imaginary cabinet of curiosities, in which tangible memories float in a virtual space - hovering between pixels and past.
At the centre hangs the iconic clock of the American Stock Exchange (AMEX) in New York, a symbol of the constant ticking of time in a world that never stands still. Its bronze sheen reflects the pace of the markets and the hustle and bustle of Wall Street. To its right floats the buy-sell glass of Euronext Amsterdam - its transparent prism captures the light of passing price lines and reflects the countless decisions made in milliseconds.
On the other side shines a medal from the Sydney Stock Exchange, modest in size but rich in memory: an echo of night trading sessions and the international nature of financial connections.
On a virtual shelf rests a letter opener from the London office of MeesPierson, next to an ink cap from the same agency - symbols of traditional precision in an increasingly digital world. They form the bridge between the analogue and digital era in which this computer expert moved.
