About the artwork

The digital artwork "Poppies" shows a vast field of poppies near Saint-Valéry-sur-Somme, bathed in the bright light of a bright blue, cloudless sky. The red flowers sway gently in a light breeze, their delicate leaves a vivid contrast to the fresh green of the grass. On the horizon rise trees, subtly drawn with soft brushstrokes.
The composition immediately evokes memories of the First World War. The poppies are not just flowers; they symbolise the blood of fallen soldiers, a universal sign of remembrance since the poem "In Flanders Fields" by Canadian doctor and poet John McCrae. In this work, the flowers almost seem themselves witnesses of the past, vulnerable but steadfast, reborn on soil once torn by war.
The use of colour enhances the emotional charge: the deep red of the poppies splashes against the clear sky, while soft shadows add depth and melancholy. No human figure is present, so nature itself tells the story - of loss, hope and memory.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
