The digital artwork depicts a weathered urban farmhouse in Sarlat-la-Canéda, caught in the bright sunlight of a summer afternoon. The composition emphasises the rich textures and subtle contrasts of the centuries-old façade. On the left, two large, closed barn doors dominate, made of painted, weathered wood. The doors look sturdy but battered, with iron hinges showing traces of rust. To the right is the front door, fitted with a simple, green metal grille that casts shadows on the pale blue wood behind it. The sun illuminates only part of this door; the rest remains shrouded in soft shadows, creating a play of light and dark.
All doors are framed by light-coloured natural stones, whose rough, irregular surface takes on a warm, almost golden hue in the sun. Above the front door is the house number "6", a simple white numeral on a classic blue enamel sign, which stands out sharply against the stone. Above it, the wall stretches out, composed of irregular, variably coloured natural stones ranging from sandy to grey-brown, with spots here and there betraying the passage of time.
The artwork emphasises the beauty of decay and simplicity, with a strong sense of place and history. The play of sunlight and shadow brings the materials and their traces of age to life in a poetic way.
