About "209. Street without hate"

About the artwork

"Street Without Hate" is a graphic digital artwork that subtly but powerfully conveys a message of tolerance and hope. The image depicts a stone wall with a clear contrast: the upper part is composed of light brown stones, while the lower part is dark grey. This colour division suggests a transition, perhaps from dark to light, or from heaviness to lightness - a symbolism that ties in with the work's theme.

In the middle of the wall is a grey door with a clean white frame. To the left of the frame is a simple doorbell, a small but meaningful detail that evokes human presence and hospitality. Above the door, a round glass window shows the house number "13" - a number traditionally associated with unhappiness, but here perhaps deliberately recaptured and turned into a place of connection.

What makes this work special is Judith Nieken's poem located below the glass window. The text adds a poetic layer that invites the viewer to reflect. Although the full poem is not quoted, the work gets its name from the closing line: *"Street without hate. "* This sentence forms the core of the sculpture and casts a soft, hopeful shadow over the entire composition.

The work calls for the revaluation of everyday spaces as places of connection, and shows that even the simplest façade can be a carrier of a message of peace.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
