Before you stretches the front of a car that is more than just a means of transport; it is a face, a relic of an era we have almost forgotten. In this digital composition, the artist captures the soul of the still on the road. The chrome gleams like a memory, the headlights look not ahead, but back-to endless roads, faded landscapes and conversations along the horizon.
The bright yellow that forms the background pops like a scream against the passage of time. It is the colour of nostalgia, but also of innovation: it makes the car an icon, cut loose from its original context and elevated to a symbol. The number plate, cryptic and illegible like a forgotten password, underlines the enigma of this work: is it a journey that was never completed, or a vehicle waiting for a new story?
The grill, with its clean horizontal lines, acts as a mouth that is silent. Yet you hear the whipping of the wind, the rattling of pebbles under tyres that no longer roll. In this stillness lies a poetry of stasis, where past and present meet.
The artwork challenges us to look, but above all to remember: to what brought us where we are now, and to everything left behind along the way. Here, between steel and pixels, time does not drive forward-she parks herself, briefly, in our field of vision.
