A beautiful and very powerful warthog suddenly appeared out of the bushes during my photo safari in South Africa. This mighty boar, with its showy lumps on its skin, is a beast not to be underestimated if it feels threatened or if its piglets or friskies are in danger. It does not hesitate to attack. In addition, despite its short legs, it can run extremely fast. The warthog has tusks that protrude from the sides of its mouth and is excellent at defending itself with them. The warthog only has hair on its back, which falls down along its trunk like manes. This picture looks best in black and white and will look great on the wall. The warthog's main enemy is the lion, but a leopard also counts the boar as a possible meal.
This picture was taken from my driving photo booth (4-wheel-drive) with a reasonably short telephoto lens.
