A fly agaric on the Biltse Rading, the provincial road between Utrecht and De Bilt. On my way to De Bilt, I saw them standing. Not on the roadside, but in the green area between the bike path and a ditch. People must have seen me lying on my belly while photographing this fly agaric.
Fly agarics can have different shapes. Sometimes round, then bigger and flatter, until the hat curls up and the edges point upwards. This had meanwhile been developed into a flat dish.
