This is the old marketmaster's house in Purmerend. Now it really sits at the foot of the Koemarkt, but originally the house was situated further on, diagonally across the square here. Because of the construction of the new Market Hall on the Koemarkt, in July 2018 this house was picked up in its entirety, turned 180 degrees and placed diagonally across the street again. A move of 30 minutes. Really a flexible workplace. The house originally comes from 1910. The office of the market master is located there. By the way, there has been no sheep and cow trade at these locations for a long time now. There is only a regular market on Tuesdays. Furthermore, the new Market Hall is not to be seen here: it drew a little too much attention to itself. On the picture you can see some restaurants and bars.
