Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Bright winter sun in early spring’ by Jan van der Knaap

A bright winter sun shines through the still bare branches of a weeping willow. At the end of February 2026, it was unusually warm and sunny in the Netherlands, just after a cold winter period. The trees are still bare, the plants have yet to sprout, and the sun shines brightly through the branches. I liked this contrast on the dividing line between winter and spring. The sun says ' "Wake up!"', nature is also awakening from its winter slumber, but needs time to get going. And the sun shines brightly, heralding the new season. The blue sky is also visible through the branches. It was really sunny and warm at the end of February 2026. I took this photo at the Cramwinckelplantsoen in Purmerend. This weeping willow sits near the railway station, close to the pond.
