A spiral staircase, sometimes also called English staircase or spiral staircase, is a type of staircase that does not go up in a straight line, but goes up around a central point. A spiral staircase therefore has the shape of a corkscrew or helix. The direction of rotation of the staircase depends on the location and what requirements it has, this is why there are both left-handed and right-handed spiral staircases.
The steps themselves have a grey colour and the panels at the side and bottom are gold-coloured bronze plates.
