A picture of Ireland's desolation. Here in the Connemara, you find these vistas with the occasional cottage or hut. The landscape is often very rugged, while a few minutes away a very lovely picture unfolds.
I am very struck by the question, who erects a small building in such a lonely place and what is it supposed to be for? The colours here are very muted by the dark clouds, giving the atmosphere an oppressive feel.
