About the artwork

Two circles executed in abstract black and white patterns. An abstract artwork full of symbolism. An abstract artwork where there is much to discover in the unusual black and white pattern. A pattern of spots in dark and light, randomly placed next to each other.
The two circles with the contrasting patterns are identical to each other but mirrored in relation to each other. They are similar yet contrasted.
Each circle has contrasts within itself. Black and white alternate, it is an interplay of light and dark. An inner struggle between light and dark, between positive and negative.
The circles also have a similarity. They look like two globes with differences on each world. Two worlds that are also connected because they nevertheless have similarities. The worlds seem to collide but also seem to want to connect.
Is this a modern version of the yin and yang principle? Is this a symbol of today's world in which groups of people clash with each other yet also have similarities in principle? A world in which groups of people may have an inner struggle but also want to connect with others?
