This is the river Dordogne in France, seen from the balustrade of the upper town of Domme. The Dordogne is located in the subtropical southwest of France. It is a region of particular interest, with aqueducts and medieval towns made of yellow limestone. In the distance above on the right you can still see the cliffs of the medieval mountain town of La Roque-Gageac.
