The picture shows a natural field of forget-me-nots (Myosotis) in various stages of flowering. The small blue flowers with their characteristic yellow centres are close together and fill the foreground of the picture. The background is blurred, which emphasises the delicate details of the flowers in the focus.
The idea for this work was born during a walk through a natural meadow, where the forget-me-nots, in their typical restraint, nevertheless developed a strong visual presence. I was fascinated by the combination of simplicity, repetition and the almost poetic effect of this small flower.
With this picture, I wanted to create a calm, contemplative atmosphere - a moment of stillness that invites you to linger. The message lies in the memory: of transience, of what remains and of the power of small things.
In interior design, this work brings a soft, cool colourfulness to the room. It is particularly suitable for calm, minimalist environments in which it creates a subtle depth through its fine structure and restraint - ideal for rooms that are intended to promote calm and concentration.
