This work is its own composition of different, colourful petals, put together as if it forms one flower.
The terra-coloured petals have beautiful ragged edges, and form a nice contrast to the yellow tulip leaves, which have somewhat tighter lines, adding beautiful folds in the leaves that give a layered look due to their transparency.
In addition, on the far right, I added some pink accents with narrower petals that give a playful whole to this artwork.
(To be honest, I can't remember the exact species of these, given my huge collection of petals by now. And my focus during the creation process is more on the aesthetic outcome than on the species used).
Printed in large format, you will see the enormous richness of detail in this close-up photo. I hope you will marvel at it, at least that is what I do once I have taken the photo's and zoomed in on the computer. The colours of the petals are the natural colours of the original flowers.
This work fits well in a colourful interior, but can also be a nice accent in an interior that contains less colour.
