Totally unexpected I found these tuber parasol fungi in the roadside at the Pelmolenweg in Utrecht. The tuber parasol fungus is common in (early) autumn, mainly in forests, parks and gardens. The tuber parasol fungus belongs to the platelet fungi (Agaricales), where the spores from under the hat fall out of the gilles. Those are the slats you see.
