The word "giraffe" or "giraffe" comes from the Italian word giraffa derived from the Arabic word zarāfa. An adult giraffe has a head to tail length of 3.5 to 4.8 meters and a tail length of 76 to 110 centimeters. Males generally become larger than females. Females are generally 3.5 to 4.7 metres tall and weigh 400 to 500+ kilograms. Males are 3.9 to 5.2 meters high and can weigh 500 to 800 kilograms.
