I'll tell you a secret: I don't particularly like autumn and winter. To ease the suffering, you can often find me in the Mediterranean during those seasons. Like the moment I took this photo.
It was around 3 p.m., atop Mont Faron, the mountain that overshadows the city. I didn't have much luck with the weather that day: it was raining cats and dogs. Except at this moment: the sun broke through briefly. A great spotlight was shining that seemed to set the bay ablaze for a moment.
You can clearly see in the photo that the harbor is being shined on. And if you zoom in on the photo, you can see the different parts of the harbor and the suburbs quite well.
Interesting to note how sharp photos can be even though you are so far away from your subject.
