A large teasel bulb that in the light of the sun seems to greet you with opened arms. As the sunlight shines through the spines, a halo forms with great contrasts. I specifically took this position for this effect, so that the light parts stand out and the background remains dark. The stem is also not visible. Its presence follows from the thorns on either side.
The large teasel is native to North Africa, but is now common in temperate regions. This flower does not flower yet. Flowering occurs from the centre and then simultaneously upwards and downwards. Here I liked the light effect.
