The interplay of shimmering colours and melting forms. The historical architecture, otherwise so precise and solid, dissolves into a kaleidoscopic symphony in the water. The facades of the buildings are only faintly discernible as blurred, undulating contours that blend with the shimmering tones of the canal. The colours - a mix of rusty brown, muted blue and shimmering silver - break up into flowing, organic patterns that merge into one another again and again. The fine waves of the water distort the reflections, making them look almost like brushstrokes on a canvas, constantly reinventing themselves in the movement of the water. This scene conveys an almost dreamlike quality, as if reality itself is flowing into the gentle rhythms of the canal, creating a new, abstract reality that exists beyond clear forms and fixed boundaries.
