The painting shows an abstract composition dominated by two main colours: a deep, dark blue in the upper left area and a light, beige-like area that takes up the rest of the canvas. The dark colour seems to dissolve irregularly, as if it were merging into the light area or getting lost in it. In addition, fine, wavy lines run vertically through the picture, as if they were spontaneous, organic traces or cracks digging into the light-coloured field.
The inspiration for this work lay in the idea of transitions and contrasts. The deep blue symbolises uncertainty, the unknown or perhaps even an emotional heaviness. The light surface, on the other hand, could symbolise purity, clarity or an as yet undescribed future. The fine lines are reminiscent of roots, cracks or delicate connections that extend into the room.
The atmosphere I wanted to create with this picture is calm, but at the same time full of tension. It conveys the feeling of change, a moment of standstill before a decision or a new beginning. The message is deliberately left open - it could be about the battle between light and darkness, about transience or about the interplay between chaos and order. The viewer should find themselves in these opposites and discover their own meaning in the structures and contrasts.
