A beautiful day in Rotterdam's Delfshaven.
Drove back home from the vacation in Zandvoort, but I could not put aside my dream to stop by the Delfshaven. A day after Kings Day I arrive in Rotterdam and start looking for beautiful images or situations. On a boat a woman hangs her laundry on the line, it is nice and warm and sunny.
A little too sunny for me and I seek the shade for a while.
I stand under this tree and while I am drinking some water I notice this scene. In the middle of the city, but very peaceful and quiet.
I grab the analogue and set my shutter speed and light correctly.
What I see makes me very happy and I sincerely hope that nothing goes wrong while developing the film.
Once at home I immediately start developing, and after a few hours I am pleasantly surprised by this image.
For me, this shows exactly how I felt, curious to discover the city, but shy because I don't want to bother people and I don't know the city very well.
