Sometimes you have to play the tourist in your own country and book a weekend trip to somewhere you don't really go. For example, I had booked a hotel in Zandvoort, and after visiting the Amsterdam Dunes, I wanted to see the Zaanse Schans.
Once there, they sun was shining and I was able to take a beautiful walk. Once in a very small landscaped park surrounded by red beech bushes I sat down for a while.
But as a photographer often has, my eyes were drawn to this statue. A beautiful statue, which was illuminated very nicely by the sun. And because the bushes had no leaves yet, I saw the branches with their beautiful forms embracing this female statue.
