On one of the many early mornings in the Deeler Forest in search of beautiful nature and the deer that roam there. They sun was just up when I got out of the car, and headed toward the forest at a brisk pace. After a few minutes, I saw the sun shining through the trees. But it didn't show up nicely in the photos, oddly enough.
A little further on, I saw these beautiful dead trees, and as I took my position I saw right away that this image spoke much more than all the photos I had taken before.
The best thing from this photo for me is the sun coming through just behind the clouds, and the fog you can still see hanging just above the heather, all the same color as that sun.
